Cramster.com- Educational Technology

Cramster is a homework help website available to students 24 hours a day. It offers help in math, science, engineering, and business. The website contains a free question and answer board, as well as textbook specific help that requires a small annual fee that allows for a full year of usage. It allows for information sharing between students, which could be anything from lecture notes to specific step by step homework problems. The website also offers a reward program called "karma points" for members who offer help to others rather than just receive for themselves. "Karma points" allow users special privileges such as priority on the question and answer board.

This website is useful for students whenever they do not have time or are not able to directly visit their professors or tutoring centers for homework help. It offers a variety of help venues for those with different learning styles. Students may post their questions to a message board and wait for another member to answer their question or they may look up their textbook, find a similar problem, and view a step by step solution. Cramster may also be used when studying for an exam. The website also offers practice tests and quizzes that are specific to the student’s particular textbook.

  1. This seems like a very interesting and useful website for students at all levels. I am curious if there is ever an issue with receiving the wrong answer, because other students are answering the questions at times. The graphic adds to your post, but once again the color sceme is a little boring

  2. i really like your information because you put so much that is helpful. I think that maybe if you screenshot a smaller portion then your visual may be a little more interesting. It is difficult to tell what the picture is off. Maybe screenshot one specific aspect like the forum boards and use that.
